Welcome to High Blantyre Baptist Church! We are a family Church with 25 members situated in the community of High Blantyre. The Church was formed in 1896 by Walter Wilson, a clerk to a local Mining company. Walter Wilson pastored the Church for 50 years. Over the years the Church has remained faithful to its original witness and purpose as a local Church. It is in full membership of the Baptist Union of Scotland. The current Minister is Rev. 2013 SU Lanarkshire Wekend Away.

High Blean dates back to 1674, and nestles on the south side of Raydale, one of the quietest and peaceful of the Yorkshire Dales, which is also the home to Semer Water the largest glacial lake in North Yorkshire. The house sits 165 feet above the valley floor, which affords magnificent views over Semer Water from the house and garden.
